This concept is based on the gorgeous surroundings of “De Maasduinen”. The design is a copy of the beautiful nature reserve where children can play freely and discover things about the animals living in “De Maasduinen” in a fun way with VR interactive play equipment, which kids and families stimulate to go outdoors as well and discover the Nature Reserve “De Maasduinen”.

Dune Pond – Role Play – Projection floor – kids 0-4 yrs old
The youngest guests can enjoy themselves in their own safe area. The older children climb the magical Dune Tower. Here the children take a good look around and enjoy a VR discovery game where they can spot the big 5 of the Maasduinen. These animals, the fox, deer, badger, kingfisher and beaver are also hidden in the play area in drawing form and part of the game is for children to discover them. The teens also have their own cool hangout to chill in.

The concept also connects the physical & digital play to the workshop kids club and the café area through great activities such as creative creature drawing workshops and healthy smoothie making workshops.
In the Café, parents can enjoy a drink and light snack while the children have the time of their lives and let their imagination run wild in this beautiful play area.
Inspired by the environment
What also makes the Indoor fun & café unique is the design of the space. The choice of colors and materials confirm the fact that the park is located in the middle of De Maasduinen National Park. This impression is further accentuated by numerous games with which children can explore the local natural environment and get to know the most common animals – the ‘big five’ – of De Maasduinen.
Digital experiences
In the new Indoor fun & café, the children will have no shortage of (new) digital experiences. In addition to the LED wall with a full range of animations, there are 3 interactive games via floor projections which guarantee unique and exciting moments and lots of laughter. But what the children will especially love are the 2 binoculars in the dune tower with which they can discover the animals of the Maasduinen nature reserve via Virtual Reality (VR) technology. Digital touchscreens and tablets complete the offering.
Teens Hang out
The Leisure & Entertainment team of Roompot also fully expect the teenagers to keep the fact that there are game consoles in the upper space of the Indoor fun & café hidden from their younger brothers and/or sisters.
